She has an extensive background in finance and business development as well as 20+ years of special needs advocacy. She is the founder of one of the largest special needs support groups in the state of Idaho, “Treasure Valley/Idaho Special Needs Parents.” When she’s not working, she’s busy enjoying being a mother to three awesome, yellow-haired boys and creating edible masterpieces as a pastry chef – she’s been catering at weddings since she was 18.

When you were 5 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian! Instead, I settled for being a crazy cat lady.
What was your first job?
I worked at Cold Stone Creamery as an ice cream and cake maker.
If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed three books, what three would you take?
I would take a collection of Edgar Allen Poe’s poetry, Pride and Prejudice, and my vintage Better Homes & Garden pastry cookbook.
What’s your favorite piece of technology of all time?
Does a video game count? I love Tetris!
If you could pick one celebrity or historical figure to have lunch with, who would it be?
I would pick Freddy Mercury, darling.

What’s your spirit animal and why?
An opossum! They are a little odd, but helpful, fuzzy, and love to snack and take naps. Plus, they’re the only marsupial in the United States!
What’s something completely random that nobody would’ve guessed about you?
I used to own a snack company that cooked with the world’s hottest peppers (Carolina Reapers, etc.).
Do you have a hidden talent?
I can say all the counties in Idaho in less than 30 seconds.
