What was your first job?
When I was young, I helped my mother with her paper route, and at 14 became a dishwasher at Wildcat Café.
If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed three books, what three would you take?
The Stand, Atlas Shrugged, and The Complete Works of Aristotle. I would have plenty to read because they are so thick, and they are so heavy I could also use them for self-defense. And as a last resort, I could use them for tinder.
What’s your favorite piece of technology of all time?
The Turbine. Think power generation.
