I wanted to be a paleontologist, probably because my favorite movie was Jurassic Park.
What was your first job?
My first job in high school was working for our homeowner’s association to maintain all the flower beds in our neighborhood. I made about $200 each summer, which seemed like a huge amount of money to a 13-year-old!

East of Eden, The Lord of the Rings, and How to Survive on a Desert Island With Just Three Books.

Indoor plumbing.
If you could pick one celebrity or historical figure to have lunch with, who would it be?
Teddy Roosevelt.
What was your first car?
My first car was a 1998 Chevy Astro Van. Yeah, I was cool.
What’s a fun fact nobody would’ve guessed about you?
We have more dogs than people in our house, both by number and by weight! My wife and I have two German shepherds and a black Lab.
Anything else that you’d like to share?
I am so happy to be back in the PNW, the greatest part of the country to live and work.
