As Recruiting Manager, Colleen’s core responsibilities are to develop and implement a solid training program at Atlas Staffing. Along with developing the materials and program, she trains new hires and continues education and development for current employees. She loves working at Atlas Staffing because she gets to do what she loves everyday – help people. She appreciates how the team is always there to lend a hand, give a tip or trick to help her improve, or cheer her on and shower her with praise after a big win.
Colleen’s years of experience as a recruiter have prepared her well for this role. She is excited to work with new recruiters to aid in their development in connecting great candidates with the right clients. She knows the fine-print details of our clients and communicates in a professional and timely fashion while working to find our candidates the best opportunity for their careers.
Colleen has a bachelor’s in history with a minor in political science from Washington State University. After completing college, she worked in the legal field while preparing to go to law school. Prior to going back to school, she decided she wanted to go in a different direction with her career. After a move from Oregon back to Washington, Colleen started working at Atlas Staffing. She absolutely loves what she does and looks forward to many more years helping people as part of the Atlas family!

When you were 5 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a country music singer, specifically Shania Twain!
If you could pick one celebrity or historical figure to have lunch with, who would it be?
Abe Lincoln. I’m a history major and major history nerd!
What’s a fun fact nobody would’ve guessed about you?
I was an exchange student through a high school in Japan for 2 weeks, and I studied abroad in Prague for 6 weeks during college.
Anything else that you’d like to share?
I have an adorable goldendoodle puppy named Benson (Benny for short). He is 9 months old. I love to go hiking or to the lake with him in my free time!
