Director of Operations

Laura is Atlas Staffing’s Director of Operations. She is responsible for providing leadership to Atlas Staffing’s branches and on-premise operations, as well as the training and development of Customer Service and On-Premise Managers.

 

With 20 years of knowledge and experience in the staffing industry, Laura is able to step into any role and assist her teams with growing the business. She has a background in accounting, human resources, and staffing, as well as an understanding of the numbers side of business and how it relates to building a roadmap for success.

 

Laura enjoys the company culture, values, and people at Atlas Staffing. She looks forward to training and developing her teams, building strong relationships with customers, and positioning Atlas as the primary staffing provider for our clients.

When you were 5 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?  

An Astronaut. 

 

What was your first job? 

When I was a senior in high school, I worked as a parttime admin at a mortuary doing paperwork. 

 

If you could pick one celebrity or historical figure to have lunch with, who would it be? 

Marcus Lemonis from the show The Profit. He’s so smart! 

 

What’s your favorite quote? 

“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. 

 

What’s something completely random that nobody would’ve guessed about you? 

I am a thrill seeker. I love the rush! 

 

What was your first car?  

Chevy Chevette. 

 

What’s a fun fact few people know? 

I was Miss South Gate (Beauty Queen) of the town I grew up in, then did several pageants after that including Miss Los Angeles.  

 

Anything else that you’d like to share? 

I am married, have 2 grown kids, and now I am a dog mom. My husband and I are foodies, we both love to cook and entertain. We also love to travel and explore the world. And I love music and dancing!
